  Following are the services available

Bhar Mukt/ Non Encumberance Certificate
 
Non-Encumberance Certificate(NEC) states that the owner of the property has not availed any loan against the property.

Refund of Revenue Stamp Papers
 
Unwritten Stamp Papers can be refunded within 6 months but the they can be used at any time. Written Stamp Papers can be refunded within 2 months or it must be got registered within 4 months.

Nomination of New Watchman or Chowkidar
 
SDM-AC 1st grade after hearing all the candidates, finally appoints one candidate as Chaukidar, who is a resident of the village having ability to perform his duties with Good Health and Character.

Registration of Marriage
 
Marriage solemnized is already registered under the Hindu Marriage Act ,1955. At the time of registration of marriage , the applicant submits an application in prescribed form Stamped with Court Fees Rs.1.25/-. Marriage Registration fees is deposited in 32-A form under Head No.0070 in the bank.This marriage is registered under the Hindu Marriage Act 1955 on the identification of village Numberdar.

Transfer of Urban Evacuee Property by Auction
 
This service deals with Transfer of Urban Evacuee Property by Auction.This transfer is done on 2 basis i.e. By Auction and on the Basis of Possession.

To Offer Government Land on Chakauta
 
Government land is lend for "Chakauta" during the 1st or 2nd week of May every year. At least 15 days before such a process ,"Mushtri- Munadi" is done in the villages for the same. Halqa Patwari makes an entryabout this in the Roznamcha. At the time of auction, 1/4 is deposited on the spot and file is sent to the collector for approval. After approval ,rest of the amount is deposited.

Certified Extracts of Land Records
 
This service deals with Issuance of Certified Extracts of Land Records.The Land whose Certified Extracts are required must fall within the Jurisdiction of the Tehsil.

Certified Copy of Registered Deed
 
This Service deals with obtaining Certified Copy of the Registered deed.The document whose Certified Copy is required must have been Registered in the concerned Tehsil.

Demarcation of Land
 
Any Person intending to have Demarcation of Land, submits an application to the Revenue Officer duly stamped with court fees Rs.1.25/- in duplicate along with copy of latest Jamabandi. The application is entered in the register. One copy of it sent to the concerned halqa Kanungo. The halqa Kanungo would ensure that this demarcation is done within one month. The Revenue Officer would call the applicant by a Date Fixed so that he may bring to the notice of Revenue Officer whether Demarcation of Land is done or not. The Revenue Officer will ensure that the applicant is not called more than twice.

Attestation of Mutations
 
Whenever any person acquires the right by the Registered Deed (Sale, Share, Exchange, Mortgage, Transfer, will etc.), the halqa Patwari enters the mutation from Registered Memorandum. Mutations are attested by the CRO according to his tour programme. Halqa Patwari informs the concerned persons about the tour programme by telling them venue, date and time.

Division/Partition of Land
 
According to Sec.110 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act,1887, got partitioned land can be with in regard to: i) Ownership ii) Tenancy with the express consent of the Land Lord.

Transfer of Rural evacuee Property by Auction
 
This service deals with Transfer of Rural Evacuee Property by Auction.This transfer is done on 2 basis i.e. By Auction and On the Basis of Possession.

Girdawari Trust
 
Under this service of "Correction of Khasra Girdawari", decisions about possession of disputed land are taken. The applicant personally or through his counsel submits an application to the CRO-cum- AC II grade for the correction of Khasra Girdawari. Respondents are summoned who submit reply. After this both the counsels argue. First of all,applicant submit documentary evidence in support of his possession over the land.Therefore, respondent submit documentary evidence. Spot of the disputed Land is inspected in presence of both the parties, numberdar, respectable etc. On the basis of above facts, the possession is decided.Patwari is informed of the decision which is incorporated in the record.

Naksa Normal Rate
 
Every Land holder can get "Naksha Normal Rate" in respect of the land falling within the Jurisdiction of Tehsil. Applicant should be Owner of the Land.

Nomination of Nambardar and Sarbrah Nambardar
 
Application for the appointment of a Numberdar is submitted to the A.C.IInd grade (CRO). The District Collector appoints one candidate as a Numberdar after hearing the participating candidates. Basically three kinds of Nambardars are appointed such as: SANAD NAMBARDARI or SURBRAH NAMBARDAR or HARIJAN NAMBARDAR.

Registration of Property Document
 
Registration of Property Documents,which are covered under Sec.17 of the Registration Act and those documents which are covered under Section 18 of the Registration Act, the registration is optional. Any document has to pass through the following four stages for its registration those are as: i. Purchase of the Stamp Paper. ii. Execution iii. Presentation of Document for Registration iv. Registration of the Document and its Maintenance in the Record Room.

To get the Copies of Land Records
 
Any interested person can have copies of the Land Record after paying the required fee. As Punjab Land Record Manual, in Para No.3.48, copies of the same can be had through V.P.P. For required Copy of Land Record, must fall in concerned Tehsil and concerned Patwari .Patwari has all Original Records. After going through the Original Record ,copies can be issued.

Copy of Jamabandi / Khasra Girdawari
 
This service deals with getting Copy of Jamabandi / Khasra Girdawari of any kind relating to any period.
